I am single and want to go on a sun holiday this year...all my friends are in couples...?

What destination would be the best and safest place for a single girl to visit? I dont want to be surrounded by couples...just want to relax in the sun and enjoy a nice break...nothing too pricey...

Greece is great. See the monuments in Athens for 2-3 days, and then go to an island. Avoid very secluded or very "wild party" destinations, you can go to Sifnos or Syros, excellent islands, good sea, friendly people and very safe. In Athens, don't go to a hotel near Omonoia square, go somewhere near Syntagma.
