and my husband and I want to go on vacation in the winter. We've been to the Dominican Republic and now wonder where is a good place to go. We want to go to mexico but with all the things happening to canadians in mexico where not sure if it's safe. would you go ? I guess we can go anywhere else thats warm and tropical.

Hi -
My girlfriend and I are planning a week long vacation, but our budget is limited only to $1200 -$1600 ($600 a person/$800 a person max. ). Ideally we would love to travel outside of US, but not sure where we can go on our limited budget, wondering if anyone have suggestions on where we might find a vacation spot that fits our current budget? We are currently located in the east coast.

I'm going to scotland for 9 days and in europe they dont have elevators and i was wondering to use a rolling suitcase or a duffel bag?

my mom says that i should bring a rolling suitcase but i think that would be to hard to carry up the stairs
i think that i should bring a duffel bag but my mom worries about all the stuff i have to pack in it

what's your opinion?

In my hometown people go all along the parade route and lay out tarps, chairs with rope through them and rugs and rags to save seats. So 4 days before the parade, the parade route looks like garbage day! Why can't people just be spontaneous and go to the parade and choose a site a couple hours before?
