We want to go for a week during mid-late Sept. On a budget of approx £500-£1,000 for 2. Want to go somewhere hot, with nice beaches, but also good nightlife!

this apartment is really nice in barcelona! if your looking for self catering! flights are damn cheap as well like £50 lpp lol!ol!

Barcelona is a superb choice, and well within your budget. Check the Easyjet and Ryanair websites for prices and good deals. It has about 5 excellent beaches, plenty of world-class nightlife, lots of things to do, and is very tourist friendly. It is a 5 out of 5 choice.

Valencia, Spain. It's a stunning place. Lots to do day and night. Very cheap flights from Jet2.com and Easyjet. Sea is still warm from the summer sun and the weather is glorious. Lots happening here. You could certainly do it on that budget. Try this link for detailed info.

Cyprus not to hot in September (low 30's) plenty of places to go and still flights to the South from local airports in UK.

Try travel republic for accom. And jet2.com are cheap to Palma Mallorca. Our hol in July cost £1,300 for 2 adults and 2 children.

bearing in mind your small budget, and the fact you want sun in september towards the end of the season, I would forget spain. Its still quite warm here in september, but not sunbathing warm.
Id look to Greece or Turkey, as they have good sun up until October.
