Depends if that company has a site where you are going; but you can also check out, and see if there is a car sharing program in your area, for instants like Zip cars they are in several cities in America, and London type in your browser car sharing/ your state .

Some car renting places have alot of locations in alot of different states and they let you drive to your destination and drop off the car to one of their locations in that state if they have one.....they will charge you more for a one way. Check around your city to see if any car renting places does that.

Depends on if they have another business where you are going.
Like with Hertz - if you rent their vehicles then you can usually just drop them off at any other Hertz business.

What would be best is to contact the company you plan to rent from & ask them. Would do you much good to get the wrong answer on here & then find it out AFTER you have gotten there...

yes but you will pay more since they will charge you a drop off fee -- before you rent check all of the rental company - if you are really lucky they might have a car they need returned to a place close where you are going and they will pay you to drop off the vehicle.
