If there's a Yahoo Answers Convention, let say to be held in Makati, who would you like to be seating next to you? Your left and right side. Considering that only Yahoo Answers Users are invited.

And why?

Mine is ATE Inday and misiu - the lady behind the mask :-)

I'm serious. People who have been there before, back me up on this. Everything works better in japan, people are nicer, women are better looking, things work the way they're supposed to, cooler cell phones, no stupid liquor laws, you can get Whiskey from vending machines, amazing public transportation, the Shinkansen, no machismo, don't have to worry about who has a gun, awesome clubs where women actually look feminine (Asian women are soooooooooooo hot) , arcades (yes, in Japan they still have them ) hanami, nomikais, no Republicans, etc.

PHILIPPINES = MALAYKO

We belong to Malay race but we're now internationally raced by different nationality, a bit confused caused by rampant cross breeding by our fellow Filipinos, Isn't that cute, when somebody asks you what country you belong from , just say "MALAYKO"

I know that China (PRC) claims that Taiwan is theirs. Also, I know that Taiwan likes to call itself "The Republic of China" but China does not want this because of the "One China Policy". In the Olympics, Asian Games, etc. do you notice that Taiwan is designated as "Chinese Taipei"? Why won't China allow the use of "Taiwan"? Is there really a possibility that Taiwan will become independent?

And, allow me to add another question:
Why is Singapore so strict? I mean, I understand that they want to keep their country clean, but why the strict rules, like banning chewing gum?

I know, in the Philippines, it's a sign of respect to your elders. In some countries, the women walk behind their husbands as a gesture of respect. But it all gets to a point when it all sound so fake and can easily be interpreted as butt-kissing.
I watched an interview of a common Filipino (tagalog-speaking) on CNN once. The man kept using po and opo so repetitively, it got teeth-grindingly annoying.
I visited a Jollibee branch here in Makati yesterday and a kid, who was about 2 or 3 years younger than me kept adding "po" to everything addressed to me.
Maybe if we limit the use of "Po" and Opo" to our elderly in the family, it would be ok. I just do not think it's necessary to use these words when conversing to the police, teachers, politicians, customers (if you work in the fast-food industry, for example), etc...

What do you think?
