I love to see the countryside and to meet the ordinary common people. What is the best scenic place or island to see, and what is the most preferred means of transport. I shall also love to travel by train.
I hate touts, hagglers, though I love to compare prices while buying. I shall also like you to tell me about budget family hotels within walking distance to disembarkation points.
Also let me know a historic place or monument in Thailand or neighbouring country.
Thanks for help!

Japanese Time confuses me, a lot. I've been looking up some TV schedules and they have times like 25:00, 26:00, and even 27:00. I thought we only have up to 24 hours a day? How does the Japanese time telling really work? Say for example, if it's 25:00 in Japan, what time is it in the Philippines?

Thank you for answering! ♥

I already asked but I though I didn't make it clear enough.

I am considering to move in Japan and curently live in Canada.
I am wondering, do you think that conditions in Canada are better? Or vice versa? Or something I should know.

And I already have relatives there and some people.
I have both citizen ships. And I can speak Japanese fluently.

I, personally am against it. My dad however came from China and is a fiercely loyal Chinese man. Hes kinda pissed now since I decided to go as a Kuominang (taiwanese) Solider for Hallowe'en. I dont get it, my familty was quite wealthy in China but twhen the culteral revolution hit, we were left with nothing, the riches my family worked hard to make was taken,so my dad has felt firsthand the effects of communism. But he likes communism! WTF? But he hates Mao Zedong

all foreigners will be fingerprinted and have retina eyes scans done at immigration control, each time they enter the country. It doesn't matter if you a spouse of a Japanese national or the parent of Japanese children, or that you have lived here for half of your life and have a permanent residence visa. You might be on business or just passing through.
This does not apply to Japanese citizens.
There has been no terrorist attack on Japanese soil and it is the Japanese who are members of the Red Army ....
Just thought you should know!
Hopefully, you will decide to skip Japan on your travels, hit them where it hurts by depriving them of your money!

If you would like to know more about this, or have strong feelings about it, you may want to support this effort:

I remember back then during a portion of my high-school days in Las Pinas, when me and my girl were out on a saturday night, a thousand pesos was usually enough for the both of us. This would mean that we got to enjoy a movie at Glorietta 4, snacks, taxi rides to and from home, a meal at Kenny Roger's Roasters (i know, that place ain't hip anymore) and coffee... for just a thousand peas. Well sometimes a bit more.

My recent visit to the Philippines last June showed me that this ain't possible anymore. A thousand pesos ain't even close to being enough for a decent meal for two at Sentro 1771, Italiannis or Bubba Gump. I never took a cab ride last June, but I'd bet it'll cost a fortune just for a one way trip from Las Pinas to Makati.
