Thank you.

I think those are the Top 10 tourist places of Seoul.
Of course, there are some museums and parks for tourists but I can't mention them all.
National Folk vilage, Grand Park, Everland(amusement park) and Fortress are also popular for tourists but they are located in suburban area of Seoul. (about an hour-away from the center of Seoul.)

I also found this website was very helpful for tourists in Korea:

If you like the outdoors, you've got to visit Lake Park in Ilsan. Yes, it's not in Seoul, you'll need to take the #3 orange line to get there, but from Seoul, it's about a 45 min ride. Lake Park is famous for its "Musical Singing Fountain" along with the fact that it is the largest man made lake in Korea. While you're in Ilsan, you'll also want to visit La Festa and the Western Dome - the Imax theater and the famous meat street with all the open air restaurants will be a memorable treat.

Other places to visit in Seoul:

Myungdong - shopping!

Namdaemun and Dongdaemun Market - bargain hunting and great places for quality souvenirs

Insadong - Korean antiques

Choenggyecheon Stream - newly restored by the South Korean Government, it attracts tons of visitors every year. It's located near Dongdaemun Stadium.

Gyeongbokgung Palace - historical site

Itaewon - Westerners love it here. You'll see many English speaking shops that take the US dollar. If you're also into non Korean food, this is the place to be.

Yongsan- electronics market is huge and the prices can't be beat.

Sinchon and Hongdae - take the green line #2. The hot spots for college students and westerners who want to party, shop, and hang out.

Apgujeong - the place where celebrities can be spotted. The prices in the area will be high, but you'll find expensive boutiques and shopping malls here along with cozy cafes.

COEX mall - located near Samsung station, green line #2. It's huge with an indoor aquarium, Megabox movie theater, and tons of stores and restaurants packed into one. They also have Bandi and Luni's which is an English bookstore popular with westerners living here.

Jongno-5-ga - if you love flowers and plants, this is the place to get them at a bargain. Korean orchids are especially prevalent here, but you can also find exotic plants, cacti, trees, and water plants all along the 5 block area. Watch Alley is also located in this area and is a good place to buy pricey watches for a rock bottom price.

Good luck!

Insadong: weather has to be good for strolling... only goood when a lot of other people are around for "people watching" and enjoying the culture.

Dongdaemun Market on saturday nights! Do not even show up before 9pm... all places are not open and set up before 10pm This place is a cultural phenomenon.

River walk: start near shoe alley in Dongdaemun market area and stroll alongside the river.

Korean Cultural Village, just 45 mi nute drive from seoul center (south) REally a great experience.. we had our photos done in hanbok, had a traditional tea ceremony and made traditional taffy/candy.
