Asia Pacific - October 2007

I am going to Japan for 12 days in March as a part of a Travel course for my college. My boyfriend is a black belt and obsessed with everything Martial Arts. I wanted to get him a Katana or something related. I realize I can't just get on the plane home with it. How would I go about getting it home??

Call me a fool but for several years I have been helping finacally familes in asian countries,no I am a working slob so the money is not huge.Just pay for food and shelter.I need to do more,I have seen the starving there,I have been there and saw,how can I get help for some of these people,by that I mean form a job that pays?
