Travel - 7 October 2007

my family will be going to LA next year. i'm looking for a hotel where 5 adults can fit into one room.

I heard that there is a motel(??) close to Santa Monica. that one has a big room with a kitchen, and 5 people can easily fit. but i don't know the name or anything...

any information would help. Also, since i'll be driving, suburb of LA is fine with us, and free parking would help us save $$$!! thanks in advance

I want to know when does sweden seasons start.
i live in canada, and i know that in canada, spring starts at March 20, and summer starts at june 20, and autumn starts at sep20, and winter starts at december 20. so when do seasons start in sweden???

other than sites like orbitz... how can you save on airfare?
my boyfriend is flying from philly to chicago in december to get his daughter for a week for christmas and we are trying to save money. she's only 2 but airlines still charge for a seat for her.
anyone know a way to save on airfare? we aren't members of any frequent flier programs and i have searched all the sites online i can think of for the cheapest rate
