my family will be going to LA next year. i'm looking for a hotel where 5 adults can fit into one room.
I heard that there is a motel(??) close to Santa Monica. that one has a big room with a kitchen, and 5 people can easily fit. but i don't know the name or anything...
any information would help. Also, since i'll be driving, suburb of LA is fine with us, and free parking would help us save $$$!! thanks in advance

I think you're looking for a suite. Maybe and extended stay kind of place, with a kitchenette.
There are plenty.
You don't want to stay in a suburb and travel into the city. Trust me.
Most hotel/motels offer free parking. Once you're off the lot, all bets are off. Most venues, tourist attractions, etc. charge for parking. Check them out first, if it's a problem.
