I'd like lots ofl things but not just stuff like "the room flooded".

They give you a room lower-class than you ordered but they still charge you the high class price.
The room flooded.
You get locked out (that happened to me. It took about 15 minutes to get back in).
There could be a wild animal, like a chipmunk, in there
Somebody could have smoked in it when it is supposed to be a non-smoking room
They give your room away
They give you used sheets.
The bathroom is disguisting.
There are lots of stains in the carpet.
The pool is closed because somebody decided it was a toilet
A wedding reception is taking place on the floor below yours, and of course, there is tons of loud music, preventing you to go to sleep (that also happened to me. totally sucked)
You misplace your roomkey(s)
Lots of stuff could go wrong. Just use your imagination. Hope I could help.

Dirty room.
Mice or worse animals that share the room with you.
The room is also given to someone else and he comes in when you are already asleep and makes a lot of fuss, (or just gets into the bed next to you?)
You fall through the floor of the room or part of the ceiling falls down on you.
The tap keeps dripping, and the drain is blocked.
