I want to book a flight to Hawaii and I found it is cheaper if I book a round trip flight from my home to Phoenix and then a seperate round trip flight from Phoenix to Honolulu. The problem is that these two flights will be on different airlines. I have never done anything like this before and am just wondering how your experience was and if it is worth the savings to do it this way. Also, can I check in for my second flight from my home airport? If not, then will I have to go out of security to check in once I get to Phoenix? What do I do about my baggage, is carry on my only option? I'd call an expert to ask but I have no idea who to call. Which airline should I call or should I call the airport in Phoenix? I just really have no idea who can help me, so any information you have would be great.

I am coming there soon, is there a place to meet locals, prefer ones without criminal backgrounds... non gang members, murders, rapist. Someone who will not rob me, and try to beat me down, and throw me under a bridge... LOL, I hear the folks out there are super friendly... Does not matter if male or female, I am straight 30 yr. old female. Someone with a day off and want to show me around for a few hours, kinda like an instant cousin. Guys I am not intrested in any dates of any kind, so do not get the wrong Idea. If you want more of an idea who I am you can check out myspace. just look for patricia prescott, in sevierville, Tn.

I'm going to Las Vegas in March and I keep reading about people getting things "comped." It seems that this is a way of getting a meal or a room for free, but I don't really get it. What are the rules, how does this work and how can I try to make it happen to me? :) Thanks!

I'm going to Vegas with my fiance in March and we're staying at Circus Circus early in the week. However, on March 18th we're staying at the MGM Grand because they have a good rate for that night. We would check out of the MGM Grand at 11 AM on the 18th and then we are catching our flight at 9 AM on the morning of the 20th. Since we probably need to be at the airport by 6 AM and will most likely stay out until at least midnight that night, is it worth it to get a hotel room for the evening of the the 19th? I'd love to save the money by not getting a room that night but would it be a huge hassle to be lugging bags around in the casino? I called the MGM Grand and they said the bellhop could hold our bags after checking out, but for how long? Are there other options for what to do with your luggage on the last day? We might get an airport locker. Or should we just bite the bullet and pay for a room to store our stuff? Thanks in advance for your help!

I've never driven on the left hand side of the road, I'm afraid it will freak me out. Also not knowing how crazy people may drive over there. Should I be concerned or should I just try it??

I would like to go to Grand Canyon in March. Will it be too cold and dangerous to drive? Which airport is the best to fly to? I plan to stay for 4-5 days not sure if it's enough. Is it resonable time to see north and south rim? Should i stay at one hotel and hop around or i should change the hotel in between. I am new to the US and have never been around that area. Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

My girl will be flying next week and I am nervous that she will either get sick or be scared. So I wondered if there is a safe sedative or antihistimine of some sort she can take. I wll be checking w/ my doctor too, just wanted preliminary advice.

I used to live in California and moved to NY about a year and a half ago. Now I plan on going back to Cali after my school year ends, to attend a state University there, hopefully. Anyways I was wondering how long it takes for someone to become a resident of the state they live in? And if you moved does and that time has not passed or whatever does that still make you a resident of the previous state, in my case..am I New York resident or still a Cali one? Also how long does it take for you to become a resident of a certain state?
