In addition, i don't think anyone mentioned use your players club card when shopping. For instance, if you are staying at Caesar's Palace, use them at the Forum Shops if you buy something. One of my parents friends spent like $10K in the forum shops in one weekend, and they got comped 2 nights in a suite at their next stay.

Comping means "complimentary". It is done on a basis of the value of what you are being given in exchange for the amount of money and/or time spent gambling in the casino. Most casinos, if you spend enough time at the slots or small money tables will give you free t-shirts, buffet comps, sometimes even show tickets. The big ticket items like free rooms and limo rides mean significant expenditures in gambling. Always join the free comp clubs all the hotels offer and use their cards to accumulate points towards your freebies. Try to stay with one or two hotels for your gambling because the more you spend at the same property the more you get from them. Even cost reduced or comped invites back in the future! Good luck!!

Totally Easy.
When you get to Las Vegas, go right away and sign up for the Casino's Player's Club.. some Casino's may call it something different, but it's the same thing. Then be sure to use it each and every time you gamble, slots, or craps or whatever... use that card no matter what don't forget. Each time you use it you accumulate points, those points turn into free rooms and meals. Get one at each different Casino you visit, even if it's only for a minute.
Hope this helps

When you check into your hotel - especially if you plan on gambling any - sign up for the players' club at your hotel. You'll get a plastic card that you insert into any machine or some tables have a slot for them too (if not, give it to the dealer) - the casino will then keep track of how much you spend gambling, as well as your pattern of gambling. Then, at the end of your stay, ask for a casino host who will then be able to tell you what freebies you've earned - meaning, they might write off some of your stay - either room charges or meals, or whatever you've charged to your room.
If you didn't earn enough comp points to get anything free this time, you'll probably be eligible for dirt cheap rooms at the hotel in the future. You'll get postcards from them telling you about it - trying to entice you to come back!

Just like everyone else said, get the players cards in the casino. I am also going to vegas in March and we got 3 free nights at one casino and 1/2 off another. When you are gambling you get points for how much $ spent and then you just have to ask the hotel for whatever you want such as free rooms, room upgrades, tables in the clubs, dinner, just about anything in the hotel! You HAVE TO ASK though. You will also get some flyers in the mail sometimes that will give you really good deals. And you dont have to spend that much. At the one hotel its been maybe 2000 for all our trips and we got 3 free nights!

These days, you will only get worthwhile comps if you are a pretty big player!! Lot's of people don't believe it or don't go there, but the El Cortez,(downtown) is okay for comps and has the "Best" gambling percentage, payback than anywhere in Nevada if you are a machine player, and their keno, always voted "best of Vegas"

Sign up for a player's card at the casino of your choice, play for long periods of time at tables with high minimums, then ask the pit boss for free stuff. You probably won't be able to get a free room this time, but they might give you one next time. Some places will mail you offers too.

It happens to people who visit there frequently, they have to spend a lot of money gambling to get their rooms or meals comped. Instead of money you go to the cashier and use one of the casino's cards which tracks your spending. You won't get comped on your first visit usually.
