The single biggest lesson I have learned over the years is to pack light. Really nothing beats it. I will show you below a picture of my typical bag and this includes my last solo trip to Europe for nearly a month. Rolled up silk pants, only the essentials, wash and wear hair, no appliances etc. In fact, I've gotten stopped for NOT having enough luggage! LOL. Ask yourself, what do I really NEED? If it's Dramamine, a couple condoms, spare eyeglasses, a phrase book, okay. But so many things you can A) go without, and B) buy/sell over there. It NEVER ceases to amaze me (sorry!) that people nowadays still lug around suitcases filled with things like shampoo, hair dryers, extra vitamins, five travel guides, four blouses, two sweaters etc etc - WHY? I go with ONE pair of shoes, 2 tees, one pant (silk rolls up to NOTHING) etc etc.

Have fun!

Oh yeah, the piccy:
IN FACT MINE IS SMALLER!
THAT'S IT!
NOTHING ELSE! :-) LOL

p.s. Neutrogena makes this awesome liquid soap in a small squeeze bottle that can double as laundry soap, hand soap, shampoo, douche etc etc. Look for something like that!

P.P.S. MAKE A 3 PAGE COPY of your travel docs and ##s ....... put one with a $50 bill in the bottom of your bag, one in your shoe, one in your raincoat pocket.

We always recommend packing light. What you take depends on where you're going, how hot it will be and if you're roughing it or staying in hotels. Here's our basic packing list for starters: http://www.mousetourstravels.com/basic-packing-list.html Take a money belt and be sure you have all the documents you'll need..... check around our site for our other tips.

Happy travels... even if you don't travel the world... just remember that life is a journey... embrace and enjoy it! http://www.mousetourstravels.com

It would be easier to answer your question if you had provided a bit more information; such as where you're traveling to, the climate, how long you intend to be gone, etc. As it stands, I'm afraid that neither I, nor anyone else, can be of much help to you.
