This will be my first time traveling to Canada and I was wondering what are some exciting things to do there, day or night?

I have read a little about yobs and yob culture. Could you define that for me, and how I could avoid them when I travel to your country. I will be spending time in London and in Scotland. Also I read in a previos question about being "cought" on camera and answers included cought and caught. In reading English books I don't ever remember seeing cought. I cought an accepted spelling of caught?

I am planning on studying abroad in Australia next fall for a semester. I have all the information, working on visa, etc. but I can't make a decision on where I should stay. I am most drawn to Queensland (Brisbane, Gold Coast, etc.) but there aren't many unis there. Can anyone help me with this, where would be the best place (experience, etc.) to stay and go while in Australia?

I want to go to Vegas for 4 days with a few friends in March. I live in Toronto. If I want to stay at one of the casinos, what are my flight and accomodation costs going to be like? If I stay at a Marriott (using rewards points I have for them), am I really going to be missing out on things?
Also, I checked the flights and the round trip (direct) will cost me $600, but I have others telling me I should be paying half that! Can you give me some advice if you have done / looked into something like this?

I dont want to go to places like Disney where you'd enjoy it better with friends and family, maybe like a isolated/remote place, cabins, or even sight seeing, just somewhere to get away. Whoever can give me a unique location and why will be best answer. Unique as in not Vegas or walk of fame etc.
