I want to go to Vegas for 4 days with a few friends in March. I live in Toronto. If I want to stay at one of the casinos, what are my flight and accomodation costs going to be like? If I stay at a Marriott (using rewards points I have for them), am I really going to be missing out on things?
Also, I checked the flights and the round trip (direct) will cost me $600, but I have others telling me I should be paying half that! Can you give me some advice if you have done / looked into something like this?

I'm also from Toronto and a bunch of us go down every year. I don't know your age or how much you're into to partying, but either way i think not staying on the strip or at a casino/hotel you'd be missing out.
We usually go with America West Travel, or use expedia or travelocity. You should be able to find packages with flight and hotel anywhere from $500 to $1000. Our favorite hotel is The Hard Rock. Its not on the strip, but its a great young crowd.

Good Luck

www.southwest.com has good packages, but I don't think they fly out of Toronto. If there's another airport close by, you might look and see if it is listed on there. I got a great 5 day package for 2. Oh and book as much in advance as possible.
