I am traveling to Indianapolis this coming weekend. I will be dating for about 2 days with a special lady. Have 2-3 things picked out. But I would like to use ALL of the time wisely and have lots to *choose* from to begin with.
What fun stuff is there in the great city of Indianapolis to do?
If you know it, give a shout out!! We are in our thirties so think romance, fun, and excitement. Spare no expense.

Downtown there is a bar called the Slippery Noodle. It has awsome food, the wings are to die for. Have to try Long Island Ice Tea. It is an old underground railroad station. They have live bands every night usually jazz and blues. Their are alot of celebs that show up to play unanounced. I still travel back just to go there. www.slipperynoodle.com
After that you can walk along the canal. Other than that your on your own. I lived there for 4 years, bored to tears.

OH GOD!!! FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO!
Really, there is a Zoo and a mall and nothing else. NOTHING. I ended up getting wasted at the Texas Road House across the street from the Microtel. The Microtel was filthy and there was a Jesus Biker Gang there who made noise until the wee hours. I friggin hated Indianapolis.

If you want a really great restaurant, go to dinner at Eddie Merlots. Not sure where in town it is. It is my brother's, thrid year med student in his late 20s absolultely loves that place. Wonderful bar and ambiance. Steaks are out of this world.
