I don't know. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort is nice and all, but I really prefer Disney's Polynesian Resort. It has the highest return rate of all the Resorts at Walt Disney World - this means that most Guests who have stayed at both Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Disney's Polynesian Resort prefer Disney's Polynesian Resort. Many Cast Members will also agree that, though Disney's Grand Floridian Resort is Walt Disney World's Flagship Resort, Disney's Polynesian Resort is the best on property (many of which are Cast Members at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.) Disney's Polynesian Resort was also one of the first Resorts that opened along with the Magic Kingdom Park on October 1, 1971 - the other Resort to open that day being Disney's Contemporary Resort. And people always think that it costs more to stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, but that's not true. It's just as expensive to stay at Disney's Polynesian Resort. In fact, the best room available at Disney's Polynesian Resort is more expensive than the best room available at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.

The Grand Floridian is by far the most beautiful and grand of all the disney resorts, although the polynesian is the best for your money and it is also beautiful and has some of the features of the grand such as the monorail. The Animal Kingdom Lodge is also great is you dont mind riding the buses to the parks. If you get a safari room you can see animals graze all day long!!!

Naw, Grand Floridian is only mediocore. You really should checkout some of the other great themed resorts. Animal Kingdom Lodge will blow your socks off and it is much less expensive than the Grand Floridian. If you want luxury, the Grand Floridian is fine, if you want pure mind-boggling theming and beauty as well as luxury go to the Animal Kingdom Lodge

The Grand Floridian is beautiful - but my favorite is the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I've always wanted to travel to Africa. I love the culture and the artwork.

the grand floridian is disneys top of the line hotel/resort
we had a grand time at all-star sports cheap (for Disney) and we were never in our room

Swan & Dophin Resort - it's beautiful and a little city within itself.
