I have a 4 week electricians course in Barlborough and I am looking for accomodation for under £100 per week. All the local B and B's are far too pricey and i don't fancy camping in mid January!
If anyone has a room to rent or knows of somewhere with cheap accomodation please let me know.

My kid will be switching flights (Mass. to Las Vegas airport) there. Anything he should know? Is it confusing, large, etc? He's 16 and has only flown once, with his father. I'm beside myself! My 16-year-old son wants to visit his friend in Las Vegas, for a week, around Dec. 26 (no, I'm not bugging about xmas!)...My question is; this is the FIRST time he's traveled by plane that far, alone and he's not "street" smart or very confident. I've visited the airline websites on safety, but the cut-off for supervision seems to be 15.

What can I do/say/find out, etc., to make his trip as safe as possible? I want to give him more freedom and he really deserves this trip, yet I'm so worried! HELP!

Is there any way to be on top of a building during? like on top of the empire state building? It says the last elevators go up at 6:15 on their website for new years eve. Anywhere else to enjoy New Years Eve somewhere up high in the buildings?
