All this European legislation coming in ... do you think we will eventually have to drive on the left? And, if so, how difficult would it be to change round all the road signs, feeder roads and all that. Wouldn't it cost a fortune? Plus all our cars would have to be changed since the drivers would be next to the pavement rather than having a centre view of the road.

As I said before, I'm flyinf in from phx, az to ontario ca. If it would be cheaper to fly into a diff airport...i could manage that. I was looking up the flight information and it said yesterday it would only be around 60bucks...now i go online and its $100. Ok, so I'm moving from the Bronx, NY to Portland and I need to get work. Temping, however, isn't going to cut it since I'll need to be making a lot more so I can pay rent and electricity, food, the works. I went to a 5 day drilling course on bartending, got the books and certificate, have the equipment and a stocked bar at home, but have never worked in an actual bar. I've saved up about a month and a half of rent and am putting the move on a credit card... Since I know bartending's fun and a good way to make some cash, I just need to know what's the best way to get a bartending gig in Portland.
