My husband and I are going to Italy for 10 days in late March. I'm worried we don't have enough saved for the trip. We will be spending 1/2 our time in Rome and 1/2 in Florence. We are looking for a hotel that is reasonable close to the sites, with a private bathroom and no cerfew....but we don't need anything fancy. Really just a clean bed and bathroom. How much should we reasonably budget for this? I feel like I'm lost looking online for a hotel....it's so hard to tell what you are getting and to find exactly what you want.

I know I can find hundreds on line, but these are all salesmen who only pay the actual artist pennies on the dollar. Also, the images look flat and lifeless.

I need to find someone who is really artistic, that doesn't merely print a photo with paint but paints with under tones and all that.

I have a dozen projects now, I can see this as a long term relationship with a steady stream of canvasses.

A US$1.00 is about Php50.00 so a few dollars of retirement money will go a long way.

I will be visiting Montreal for the first time this month and my French is very limited (I took Spanish to fulfill my language requirement in high school and I don't have any experience speaking French).

When I go to restaurants, shops, my hotel, the train station, etc., would it be more polite and respectful if I spoke in French (using the basic expressions that I have recently learned) or English? I have read online that many locals will "switch over" to English, but I've also read that it may be considered rude to speak English (initially) and assume that the person with whom I'm conversing knows (and wishes to speak in) English. What do you think would be best?

I flew four times in the past four days. Now that I am home, I have noticed that at random times I suddenly get the sensation that I am still on an airplane. My body and my head feels like I am on a plane that is taking off, you know, that pressure/heavy feeling you get? Is this normal?
