I am staying in Chicago for a week at a conference and would love to find some really good second-hand book shops - particularly those that you can really browse in and find great stuff that isn't over-priced. st. louis rams edward jones dome parking?

is there any free parking within walking distance of the dome?
hubby and i have tickets for the december 24th game and really dont want to pay the high prices for parking at the dome.
we had heard that there is free parking at the metrolink station 2 blocks away, as long as you can prove that you are attending the game
