I'm going on a trip to Japan in January, and was told to carry cash because it was easier than trying to use a foreign credit card. Is it better to exchange money here in the U.S., or should I wait until I get to Japan to do so? Also, how much would you recommend taking? I will be there for 5 days and will be staying with friends. I want to do some sight seeing in and around Tokyo, and do some shopping.

I am a Permenant Resident of Canada and my Indian passport will expire 1 day after i reach India. There is not enough time for me to renew my indian passport before i leave. Do you think i would have any problems when i get to India. I am a Indian citizen. Can they refuse my entry into India?

I've been feeling a bit trapped and empty lately, like being stuck in a box, so I've just decided, tonight, to go on a week-long vacation... My pick is Washington, DC.... for no particular reason though; I have just never been there.

Anyway, if my plan stays, I will be in Washington in 48 hours, but I still have no clue what to do when I get there. I think I will arrive at either Dulles International Airport or Reagan National Airport.

I'm up for anything, but more into performing arts, concert, sightseeing. Could you give me some suggestions? Names of places / cities, etc. THANKS!!!! HUG HUG!!!

I'm doing a tourism project where I'm supposed to put together a travel package (including airfare and lodging) Feeling quirky, I thought I would do a haunted travel package and focus on the ghosts and supposed mythical creatures. My friends dad is a ghost hunter, so she suggested Scotland. If anyone out there knows any haunted hotels/resturants or sites to see, please let me know.
