I really need to get to missoula montana, i live just outside of austin texas. The cheapest way i have found to get there is by bus. Does anybody know of any cheaper way, its 174 dollars.

I checked amtrak, and there is no direct route ... you would have to go either to LA, then up to Seattle and over, or up to Chicago then west ... and the train only runs along the northern edge of MT.

Which leaves you with bus ...
if you check with travelocity or the like, you might find airline deals around $260 ... I know that is actually more money, but a lot less travel time! That is for a round trip ticket, one way is more....
