From my experience, it would have to be your home. Going out is a mostly a bad experience, what with the sheer volume of crowd you have deal with. better is a party at home. you can call some similar-minded friends whom you havent been in touch with for a long time, have an update, and have a calm and unforgettable new year bash!!

It may sound cliche', but NYC is by far the best. There's nothing like being with over a million of your closest friends to bring in the New Year. One suggestion......get to Times Square EARLY to get a good spot.

I once celebrated New Years Eve beside the river in Brisbane, Australia. It was most enjoyable.

the best place is palm springs! i ♥ it there my uncle lives their and we went up to see him 4new yrs and we went to this place it wuz like a hotel or motel or sumthing and it wus great!
acculy the 1st sec. of the new year wuz the 1st sec of my 1st kiss!!!!!! so go to palm springs!!!!!!! u will ♥ it their!!

funny story. id have to say the best place to spend new years is anywhere with your best friend. last new years, i spent it with my best friend ironing clothes. funnest one ive had, i believe
