Hi there,

Im planning a trip to Vietnam, flying into HCMC on Boxing Day (Dec. 26th) of this year, and have about 2 weeks in the country. I understand it's quite crowded at this time of the year. Is it worth booking a rigid itinerary now, to ensure I have accomodation and travel sorted for the whole trip when I arrive, or will I still be able to find transport & accomodation fairly easily when Im there?

Im planning on going along the coast from HCMC, then back down to the Mekong Delta.

Cheers.

I've got a 7 am flight out of LAS next month so I'd like a hotel that is really close - like walking distance. I'd prefer something decent/nice, but don't need a casino or shows.

I realize everyone has shuttlebus service, but that is another 30 minutes and getting up at 5 am PDT is 4 am, my time, back home.

Going down-under soon and I want to see cool stuff in Sydney - I can spend some cash but not a fortune as I'm planning on going to Cairnes diving too.
Also I would like to know about venues where I can meet hot single Australian girls who like British tourists. Just for fun - I'm not a sex tourist!

I am looking at travelling to Salvador Bahia near the end of April beginning of May next year. What is the climate like this time of year? Also can anyone recommend a good place to stay close to the beach that is clean and not too expensive? Also how far is the airport from the town? We don't want to be spending days travelling. What part is best if you want to relax?
Lots of questions I know, sorry just getting carried away.

I have already asked this question but it is worth asking again.

My husband and i live in california as does the majority of our
family , we live in the north part of the central valley. However
cost of living here is so rediculously high! We are not poor
but we struggle sometimes.

We are also interested in having land, maybe some animals
and growing some of our own food.

We think oregon is a good choice but are confused as
to what the job market is like and what the cost
of living is.

We would be looking at living away
from the city and possibly having a small ranch
in the future.

I must admit it's beautiful country!

The two times I've made this trip, I've gotten stuck in some really bad traffic jams for hours - anyone have some good alternate routes or other strategies for avoiding bad traffic? Thanks.
