Where is the best place to see celebrity's in NYC? I am going 8/25-28 (4 days before the VMA's)?

I live in NYC and go to New York University, so I usually see celebs around the East village (Greenwich village) area...especially 14th street & 5th avenue!

Asia de Cuba, Balthazar's for restaurants.

Clubs in the meat packing district and the village.

Tribeca Grand Hotel.

I saw one in front of madame tusos, or try saks 5th avenue.
