EVERYWHERE I turn, the talk is August 22nd. I work at a college and several of my colleagues have been talking about it. Is the date significant? Why are there so many coincidences? Should I make preparations?

parents house? and still let your parents take care of your household expenses? i understand some that it is for practical reason, but how come even if you have money of your own, you still tend to let your parents pay and live there for free.

you make it a burden for them to help out their siblings even if those kids are abusing it. if they will not help, you make them feel that you are disappointed.

My AA miles are no longer in my AA statement. I was not aware that they could expire if I had not in activitie after few years. I have been ill and was not able to travel or to think of my hard earned miles.

I thought that these miles would never expire and I did not get a warning from AA.

Please can anybody help me in getting the miles in the AA statement again?

I would be happy again !

Cheers !

I've been watching what is going on with flying and can't help but feel that there has got to be a better way than stripping and intimidating passengers. I'm aware of the need for heightened security, but is this bullying and intimidation really nessesary? I haven't flown since earlier this year, but even then was a nightmare, with airport securities barking orders at seniors, Yelling at me because I couldn't get my laptop out of my briefcase fast enough, and then roughing up a little kid because she was setting off the alarm, and making her cry.
So am I the only one that thinks airport security needs to brought up to the 21st century?

I work at a Korean Elementary School and the school provided me with housing. I live in a "shatek". A week ago I went on vacation in Busan and gave the school's administation office the numbers of people I would visit there as well as the number of the hotel I would stay at in any case of emergency. Then the area I stay in had a power failure. I came back to a stinking home, because the fridge was off and I lost all my frozen veggies and meats. The TV also didn't survive the power failure. The "shatek" is very old and needs a lot of work, but the school doesn't want to take any responsibility for fixing it up. The only thing they did was put on new wallpaper. The water leakages and the lack of an aircon are driving me nuts! Should the administration office pay for my losses and any work done (and paid) by myself on the place?
