The best hotels on the strip are as follows:
The Wynn - Steve Wynn property.... Sunday Brunch, yum
The Venetian - Love the rooms
Bellagio - Luxurious and great restaurants, best all-around brunch
Caesars - great hotel and the best shopping at the Forum shops
(Best seafood at Joes Stone Crab)
Signature Suites at the MGM - NEW !!!
of the above, there is NOTHING I DON'T LIKE

Four seasons and The Hotel at Mandalay Bay are also wonderful, but there are not in the heart of the Las Vegas strip

I would go to expedia.com and check out the ratings given by thousands of people who have stayed there. The best hotels are considered to be:

Bellagio
Wynn
Four Seasons
Venetian
The Hotel @ Mandalay Bay
Hooters Casino Hotel

(The last one was a joke!)

But really it depends on exactly what you are looking for. Do you like to gamble (if so what kind of gambling), do you like to eat, do you want to be pampered, do you like night clubs, do you like to shop (if so what for) how old are you, etc.

I am going next week and we picked TI in terms of overall value, quality and amenities. In my experience it doesn't matter too much where you stay as long as you stay in one of the better hotels. You can visit any casino you like while there. Pick a nice central location and then travel around when you are there.

Keep in mind also that the most expensive hotels are sometimes a little stuffy and over priced. They are used to hosting millionaires, and are not overly impressed with those who are not. The slightly cheaper hotels that are still high end tend to offer better comps and look after you better.

Planet Hollywood is in all probability my well-liked inn to stay at and has the best value. Rooms and on line casino have been renovated some years in the past and seems superb with out being overly costly - it relatively is Vegas, you mustn't be in the room that lots. The pool is the main significant draw back because it relatively is no longer something too specific. a sparkling club purely unfolded (Gallery) and the tom cat Dolls residing room would be establishing up there presently. and because Planet Hollywood has a brilliant region, there is a lot of different golf equipment (Chateau at Paris, financial company at Bellagio, Marquee at Cosmopolitan....) and loads of bars interior of sight. in my view, it relatively is the inn i decide to propose the main. somewhat in case you do no longer decide to spend too lots on the inn room. as an occasion; I enjoyed my stay at Encore however the region is purely too some distance north and that i does not pay that lots for a inn room (i became into comped).

I always stay at Paris--it's centrally located on the strip right across from Bellagio. You can usually get decent rates on the rooms. The casino is nice but a bit small. They have awesome restaurants like Mon Ami Gabi and Les Artiste (steakhouse). They also have what I think is the best buffet on the strip.
The spa is also nice but again a bit small. The pool area is also nice.

To me the Imperial Palace is the best deal..Low cost ($89/day) nice rooms, good service and most importantly in the perfect location..Right next to all the big expensive ones where you actually spend most of your time..But if money no object the Bellagio is great
