My AA miles are no longer in my AA statement. I was not aware that they could expire if I had not in activitie after few years. I have been ill and was not able to travel or to think of my hard earned miles.

I thought that these miles would never expire and I did not get a warning from AA.

Please can anybody help me in getting the miles in the AA statement again?

I would be happy again !

Cheers !

You need to contact American Airlines, not Yahoo!

But before you call American Airlines, you may want to check the terms of your frequent flier miles. If it clearly states that they expire, you may not have an argument. Of course, AA can always restore them as a gesture of good faith.
