I'm married to a Britishman who has seen more of the world than I ever will! I think he's learned since crossing the Big Pond that travel from the U.S. isn't the same as what is available in the U.K., especially regarding great package deals. Regardless, he dreams that we'll travel together someday. I just want to know if I travel to Europe or some of their coastal isles, what am I in for? I probably wouldn't tour the Middle East or Far East even if I had the opportunity simply out of fear. I wouldn't go anywhere betting I could fake a British accent so what's a good ole Southern American gal to do if she wants to venture out her backyard? Remember, you're helping to expand my little world so any kind advice and suggestions are appreciated!

i know that a flat is like an apartment, but when i read books that are set in england it sounds like a flat is more prevalent than a house.
so, here in the states when you settle down to have a family, ideally, you are in a house...but it seems that in england flats are perfectly fine for families...

i hope i'm making my question clear!
if you don't understand, then i'll add more details!
thanks!

I have a 13 year old boy who has outgrown a lot of family-type activities. He's a black belt in karate and is into ghosts and supernatural stuff. He likes science and history.

ever traveled on a bus? I equate riding the bus with nightmares from my youth! In no way possible can this be fun, but I am trying to keep an open mind. I already have 2 chickens and a small pig packed for the trip. Alright it might not be that bad, but I can't imagine it would be that good. I am shooting for a train as an alternative anyone do that?

I'm going to stay onsite at WDW. I don't want to stay in any value resorts (All-Star and Pop Century). I just want to stay in moderate resorts, Animal Kingdom Lodge, or Wilderness Lodge. I will visit one different theme park every day. What is the best resort to stay? Is it Coronado Springs, Caribbean Beach, Port Orleans Riverside/French Quarter, Animal Kingdom Lodge, or Wilderness Lodge? And why?
