I'm going to purchase this prepaid phone card: http://www.zaptel.com/zaptel/index.cfm?fuseaction=customer.product&product_code=ABSOLUTEWORLDCARD&from_country_id=208&from_country=Italy&to_country=USA%20-%2048%20States&to_country_id=1&conversation=5&MinuteRate=0.135&connect_fee=0&Denoms=-25

Do I need to get a sim card also? Will T-mobile charge me for calling from Europe? Or should I just use the hotel telephones?

Thanks!

NO T-mobile will not charge you if you purchase a calling card they will only charge you for the minutes you used while talking on the cell.

It would probably be a lot cheaper to buy a sim card in Europe that you can use while you are there. I bought one in Greece for 5 euroes and it had credit on it as well. SIM cards are not very expensive in Europe.

Have fun!

Hi!
Best card hands down for use in Europe is from MCI. Strange but true. Bought mine here. refilled by phone a few times and it's save me a fortune over buying cards in Europe.
