I would say that it is. There are so many great hotels there that you could relax and spend quality time with your new mate. My recommendation would be the Fripp Island Resort. You can watch the sunset together, which is som romantic and you can even have a candle light dinner, then a walk on the beach and get your feet wet, while looking into each other's eyes and smiling. Listen to the ocean breeze, so romantic. YOu can chooose a room overlooking the beach from and feel the ocean breeze caress your skin and you both can wakeup to the sunrays coming through the window as the sun rises over Fripp Island. YOu can call 1-800-845-4100 for specials on your vaction. It's worth a try. Oh and not to forget the Fripp Island turtle, what a treat that would be to see these beautiful creatures.

I would think so. BACK IN THE early '80's it was a quiet place next to quiet Hunting Island. But, remember, there's a Marine Corp base nearby I think. And you might have some low flying fighters passing by.
