Last year I went, it was really nice. I loved it, the only bad thing is that there was a lot of people, and people could hardly move. But, I guess we also like to be in places, where there is a lot of crowd. If nothing changes my plans I will attend this year.

I used to love going when I was younger but lately its just too crowded. People are constantly pushing. And the worst is when you re strolling along, someone comes to a dead stop right in front of you. That has happened so much to me. Well when you re pushing a stroller and they get whacked in the back of the ankles I just laugh at them. But anyways the food is awesome!! And no I wont be there since I now live in Florida. Have fun!!!

Hmmm... elbow to elbow with sweaty people, over priced food (five tickets for a hamburger??) so-so music, no place to sit and eat (yeah, that greasy curb with all the people stumbling by looks like a great place to sit)...
Nah... been there, done that, got the leftover food tickets to prove it.
Milwaukee summerfest is MUCH better. Better musical acts, better food, more room... If you can make it up there, do it... take the train and don't worry about drinking and driving...

I looove the festival and have gone many times, but not this year, I moved away from chicago and cant make it back for the taste. boo.

I'm going for the second time in my life and I've lived in Chicago all my life! I'm 24, isn't that crazy? My bf and I are going this Saturday.

I went last year and had a good time. We made a day out of it and went to the Lincoln Park Zoo also. Not planning on it this year though.

Last year I went, and had a fried twinkie ..... yeah, you're right .... yuck-o-rama! I did it on a dare.
The Taste is Great, but it sure isn't cheap. You could blow through $40 without even blinking.

ya! i had gone there last year. it was wonderful. different kind of food, lots of musical concerts and lot of masti. i will go there this year too with my family to enjoy every second of taste of chicago

i was there on the 3rd of july for 8 straight years but that streak stopped a couple years ago, but theres a good chance i make it back for the fireworks this year. its a great ole druken time.

I was there last year. IT was most likely one of the sweetest things I've ever experienced. If y'all ever figure out what sweet tea is, I might move up there ;)
