A raccoon comes to my backyard every night and has fought with one of my cats, and severely injured it. Pellet gun wont do the trick, so I'll use one of my .22's. But I have neighbors on both sides of me, so how can i make a home made silencer for a .22?

If you were to fire a 45 acp out the back of a jet aircraft; what would happen to the bullet? The 45 acp projectile travels roughly 900 fps. If you fire it from a plane traveling at the same speed (900 fps), in the opposite direction, what will the projectile be doing?

I just got some Taiwan .30-06 on 1919 Browning belts. How do you remove the ammo from the belts? I thought it would just be cliped on but the links wrap pretty much all the way around the bullet. Can you just slide the ammo out?

Go here to see a pic of the ammo: http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/Taiwan_30.06_FMJ_Boxer_Primer.html

I was curious to see if any of you had experience with the S&W 686? I am considering one for a house/hiking gun, and wanted your input and opinions. I am also interested in the cylinder length. I plan on carrying heavy loads in the woods (I live in black bear and cougar country here in East TN) and I'm wondering if the cylinder has enough space for them.

The gyrojet was crap. Its not that hard, hell you could probably make a custom grenade that could be fired out of a flare pistol.Grenade launchers don't have much recoil,If they just made a 12 gauge sized nade we could use it.I'm not saying its practical but you would think we would have something like it by now.

If you had $700 which handgun would buy? Revolver or auto-loading. it has to be something bigger than a .22lr.

Obviously it is not hard to get a used or NIB MAC-10. But just wondering, is anyone manufacturing the MAC-10 right now? And if not, why not?

Once the AWB ended, I would have thought a lot of these old guns would have come back. It seems only the AR-15 and new FN guns are doing well. No one has brought back the MAC-10/Tec-9/HK/Steyr AUG/USR/SSP, etc.

WTF!

Why is it so hot to see chicks shooting guns? Is it because their boobies shake around or is it something else that I am missing? Chicks posing with guns is also cool so maybe it isn't the boobies angle after all.
