I think hunting is important because all or most of the predator animals have been taken out of this country and it would not be safe to drive in the country because of all the deer. cars and deer do not get along when they are trying to occupy the same road space. I know i have had to repair 2 vehicles from collisions with those animals. Not to mention the Deer Tick that carries the Lyme disease which are spread by deer has increased in our area.

I spent much of my childhood on ranches or farms, so I began hunting at age 8 with a BB gun and a .22 rimfire rifle at age 9. I have allergies to pollen and leaf mold now, so I can no longer go hunting. Some fanatics say it is wrong, but this is a free country, and I have a right to hunt if I am able.

I love hunting because i love the feeling you get when you see that buck of a lifetime walking strait toward you. Also hunting keeps nature in balance and the deer population from becoming diseased, and if it werent for hunting the people in rural areas of this great country would hit a deer every time they drive on the road.Bird hunting is healthy because of all the walking you get.Hunting also brings family closer together,it isn't just a sport for the man of the house it is exciting for every age and gender. I hope this answers everybodies question of if hunting is right.Maybe i dont like soccer but i don't try to ban it so all of you tree hugging animal worshipping fools back off of my freakin' rights to hunt and bear arms.

Hunting is great, as long as it has a purpose, ie for food or to control pests.

For those that say hunting is bad, you need to think about pests that have been introduced to areas that cant sustain them. Here in NZ things like stotes and possums etc kill our native birds. If we dont hunt the rodents, our birds would be extinct.

Plus I think it is better to hunt a wild animal than pen them up in a place where they can run around. At least they get to live a life.

When they are killed it is unexpected and is usually quick compared to a farm animal that is to be slaughtered.

Farm animals are dragged across the counrty for hours in a stock truck and forced into a completly alien environment. They then stand in line and watch their comrades get slaughtered before they are finally killed themselves.

Actually, the idea of NOT hunting is a very new idea, bred in an artificially-created vacuum of modern creation. Man has hunted since before we started walking on two legs....think about that.

I think hunting is perfectly natural, the way our Creator made it.

I support it, responsible hunting is good for the environment, the fees alone support a variety of state wildlife conservation programs.Plus helps keep the animal population in balance.I don't believe in hunting something I am not going to eat so I don't hunt just to kill something. It is a great sport.

I don't hunt, but there are no more top predators in the wild, so hunters have to do the job or animals like deer would become so plentiful, they would become diseased and malnourished and die much worse deaths than being shot.

I think it's great. Just about everyone I know does it, and they don't just do it to bag a trophy. Where I live, hunting is pretty much a way of life.

Love it! fun. better hunting than animals... you know, if you take out hunting, defeats another purpose of the gun.
You can't change the fact that guns do exist in our society.
