I'm a huge fan of Kazmir and desperately want to see him pitch for a better ball club. However, I can't find anything about how long he has left on his contract.

1). I would like to see several pitchers refuse to pitch to him..they could turn their back on him and just sit on the mound until they are ejected.
2). When he hits the record home run, I would like to see all the fans in the stands remain seated and sit there in complete silence...

My opinion..if you have any other ideas of ways to show your distaste..feel free..

I don't understand because the rule is its a game after 4 1/2 if the home team is winning and 5 if they are losing.

Are there any teams that are good enough, without having to pick-up a pitcher and/or a position player, to go through the playoffs and win the world series with the players they have now.? If so, tell the team(s) and why you think they don't have to make a move to win it all.

This guy is an egomaniac, and a racist, and he does steroids!
I don't care if/when he does break Hank Aaron's record, he should not be celebrated in ANY way at all.
He will never be the player or the man that Aaron was/is.
He knows no humility, and has the talent of a genetically altered sub-human, and the personality of a dung-beetle.
This guy does nothing to advance the sport of baseball, and is a "Me" player, not a team player. This is the problem with the sport of baseball in general nowadays.
I hope MLB puts a BIG HUGE ASTERISK next to EVERY single stat on this man's career.
Just look at his head now compared to when he was on the Pirates! He's a roid-head for sure.
What a disgrace.
He and Gary Sheffield should go shack up together and leave baseball to the real players.

Should they go after Texeira? LaRoche? Helton? Relief? How much is too much? I think the Red Sox should try to take Texeira for guys like Youkilis, J.D. Drew (they need to get rid of him), Gabbard, Pena, or Murphy. Any better is probably too much. Also, the Red Sox need a future 3rd Baseman, since if Lowell signs with another team, they get two top prospects in the draft. Andy Laroche would be cheap, or we could even go for Miguel Cabrera full on with Jacoby Ellsbury, Aaron Bates, etc. With Drew gone, they can put Brandon Moss there and also acquire Ty wigginton to help him and be a bench player. What do you think?

last night, a local broadcaster likened Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Fausto Carmona to a young Pedro Martinez. I am not much of a stats person so I am interested in feedback on this commentary. On a sidenote, I am greatly disappointed that Adam Miller looks like he will not be a call up this season due to more inflammation with his elbow. Any thoughts on Carmona, Miller, Tribe pitching in general is welcome in this post.

No offense to anyone, and in my opinion Iike one as a player more than the other, but Schilling seems like a whiny, silly little kid. Bonds at least acts like the a baseball player should just shaking his head and telling everyone they are wrong. So here's the question: Which players attitude about steroids does the most harm to baseball: Schilling's snitching or Bonds' beligerence?

Just for the record, I think Bonds steroid use is bad for the game and don't like the guy at all, but in terms of attitude towards steroids, think there is something admirable there.

ok how many people that only watched football on ocassion, or ever once in a while and followed it slightly will not follow or watch the sport now because of the dog fighting accuasations on Michael Vick?(or just tell me if it effects the time/care you have for the sport)

How many of you that rarely/ on ocassion watched pro basketball and lost all or any interest in it because of the eledged point shaving scandel? and to what severity?

How many fans who rarely/ocasionaly watched MLB( pro baseball) will not be paying as much attention to or not follow it because of all of the steroid uses and such? and to what severity
( actually if you watched the port as an avid fan even please comment on it!)

Barry wanted to be loved like Willie Mays, he figured if he was good enough, people would love him. He has been scorned by the media since the 80s, and his surliness stems from the scorn he receives no matter the achievement. I mean at 43 he reaches bases 50% of the time, 5% more often then the nearest player. It is time to give him his due.
