More like.. owner of several dealerships rather than used car salesman. He's got some money.. too bad not enough to spend on the Brewers for many years.

When he was a "mere" owner, he was always willing to get involved, make lotsa phone calls, do grunt work. Consider, getting (24/26/28/30) owners to agree -- heck, to reach a majority position -- is probably HARDER than herding cats. And he was always there, ready to do it, and the other owners were quite willing to let him continue.

Connections in the business and gave free cars to people. Do you know what kind of used cars he used to sell? He sold used Ferraris, Maseratis, Mercedes, BMW, and Aston Martin.

Before becoming commish, he was part-owner of the Brewers.
The owners promoted one of their own. No wonder he has been viewed as pro-owner, huh?

If nothing else, he did istitute the Wild Card position, which I think was a great thing. Other than that, he's a putz.
