It seems, the steroid use in baseball got national attention when Jose Canseco starting naming former and past players who used performance enhancing drugs. At the time, I thought he was a disgruntled loser who took steroids himself and wanted to take others down with him. But, does he receive some credit in this?

here's a guy who has made every program better that he's coached (including Nothwestern, Stanford, Minnesota Vikings, and Arizona Cardinals), and took the 1998 Vikings to 15-1. He's also part of the Bill Walsh coaching tree, and an offensive thought leader.

Sure he's got some interesting episodes like "They were who we thought they were", but overall he's a find for someone. Surely he's better than Petrino or Saban or Houston Nutt or a bevy of others.

Why doesn't this guy have a coaching job?

I was so proud of my team the Brewers for not having any cheaters and now they just signed a huge contract with Eric Gagne ( one of the steroid freaks ) . Shouldn't they be able to cancel the contract to keep the team clean and honest ?
If everyone dumped the cheats MLB would be cleaned up in a heartbeat .

Very rarely does a team ever beat up Pittsburgh. Jacksonville has done it before, and they always play Pittsburgh tough. Please noone say New England physically beat them up because that's far from the truth. They out-finessed them.

I would have to say Drew Bledsoe, but that could just be me. Ever since he left the Pats, I have wanted him to coach. I think he was very underrated as a QB and I think he would make a great coach.

I honestly have no idea what the NFL's policy is on this issue. Do they do testing? If so, why not? Those guys are freaking HUGE, I'd think it would be ripe pickings so to speak. If they do, how often?

Hopefully this is tightly controlled; so much so that it's just assumed and that's why I never hear about it in the media.
