The Cardinals signed Bob Gibson's son and invited him to Spring Training. How cool will February and March in Florida be with the Hall-of-Famer hanging around camp again?

Don't you wish you had a Big League Dad to get advice from?

I'm not a Cards fan, but I have to admit that's pretty cool. Although it's kinda unfair to the rest of the players... Not the whole getting Gibson hanging around thing, but the first thing they ask when recruiting is if a player has relatives who have pro baseball experience of any kind.

I'm only 16, but sometimes I wish I'd gotten to see Gibson pitch... He must've been a beast...

Uniforms replace perpetually. look up the Pittsburgh Pirates jersey's from the 70's and look at their jersey's now. they do no longer look comparable in any respect. And, the interest play variations extra beneficial than something. lower back in the day, 20 residing house runs could lead on the league. Now, there is extra skill in the interest, it takes a minimum of 60 residing house runs to lead the league. The Pitchers mound has been diminished 6 inches by way of the years. That makes a brilliant distinction in the stats. in certainty, different activities replace the major stuff, however the gameplay remains, for the main area. yet baseball variations the little info that finally end up making a brilliant distinction.

Right after the report--or even before the report--everyone was asking nothing about the game other than Mitchell et. al.

Even more annoying was that if they had checked, they would have seen that there were umpteen questions about it already.

So, who thinks Tim Raines should be in the Hall? Where will Santana end up? Is Cabrera going to be a stud or a dud for the Tigers?

Real fans want to talk about these as well.

Unfortunately, the winter meetings were a bust and for the most part, a lot of the free agents this year have resigned with their previous club. There isn't really much to talk about. It's unfortunate that we have to be hoarded now by this Mitchell Report. It's sad.

Yea, that would be the best. That would be sweet to be a cardinal with a HOF there to talk to get tips and advice from. What a spring training that would be!

Me! I do!!
So, why isn't A-Rod on Mitchell's list?
Do you think Big Papi is gay?
Who's dating Jacoby Ellsbury?
Why doesn't Joe Garagiola just shut up?
Did you see what Albert Pujols was wearing?
How can I contact Jose Reyes?

Thanks, pricehillsaint. It's good to talk baseball again!!!

Stop asking such stupid questions - let's focus only on steroids, and ignore everything else going on in the baseball world.

Seriously, though, I wish more trades and signings would happen so there were other things for fans to discuss.
