Well, we don't have to play Milan, Barca, Real or Inter because we played brilliant football and topped our group.

I think there is a couple of weak links left in the competition (Celtic probably being the weakest side left) but no team gets through to the final and lifts the trophy without disposing of at least 1 or 2 of Europe's elite.

Anyway, Man Utd don't need to fear playing anyone .... with messrs Ronaldo, Rooney & Tevez on song it's the rest of Europe who will be hoping they avoid us in the draw.

I am not sure how that gives Manchester United the easiest draw since all of the teams that won their groups are in the same boat of not having to play Real Madrid, AC Milan, or Barcelona in the next round.

Given recent history in the CL, Porto has the same advantage of Manchester United and Chelsea of not having to meet Liverpool in the next round.

While there are no easy opponents once you get to the knockout phase, Liverpool is clearly the scariest of the teams in the runner-up pot so that makes Manchester United, Chelsea, and Porto co-equals in terms of having the easiest match in the round of 16. Once you get to the quarters, Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan and Internazionale are all potential opponents so nobody has an easy road to the finals after the next round.

This is a professional competition. No team no matter how big they are have an easy path to the finals. This tournament is made up of 4 teams from each of Europes professional leagues. But because I'm a United fan we will win everything. We just Rock. GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED!!!!!

I agree with Foongwk..in CL its a different kind of tournament and there is no easy passage through. Under estimating so called smaller teams, is a mistake that has and will bring many a contending team down.

What makes you think that you won't have to play any of those teams in the quarters or semis? You only don't have to play them in the next round. And you can thank UEFA for country protection or else, you would end up drawing Liverpool and you'd get dumped out 6-0 on aggregate.

YNWA!!

A ball is round! So we have no chance to say which team is the champion now! But Manchester United really got chance to get the championship if got no player injured along the tournament! (I am Manchester's fans also!!!)
