Very rarely does a team ever beat up Pittsburgh. Jacksonville has done it before, and they always play Pittsburgh tough. Please noone say New England physically beat them up because that's far from the truth. They out-finessed them.

It's not that I'm a Patriot hater. It's that there are so many arrogant New England fans on here it really bugs me. Not all Patriot fans, but a lot.

NE guy: I don't know what game you were watching. Beat up their offensive and defensive line? They were in Brady's face nearly every play. They constantly threw short passes because they knew they couldn't run on Pittsburgh. Not to mention the pass rush wasn't allowing them to throw downfield. Pittsburgh ran at will on the Pats D. So now you're arrogant and not very smart.

Yes they could. Jacksonville has won the last two extremely physical meetings between the Steelers and that includes a shut out.
This battle will be decided in the trenches like always. And whoever blocks the best for the longest will more than likely prevail in this one.

OK no the Jags are not as physical as the Steelers. Last weekend we could have stayed with the Pats if we had put the ball in the end zone when we were down there. I remember 3 times inside that area and 2 that we were only a few yards out but bad play calls knocked that out. Now as for totally dominated now that is going a little far! Yes the scoreboard reflected a beating but the stats don't what the Pats out gained us by what 50 yards? We hit Brady a ton of times he just got the ball off fast. The Pats O-line is not that good because he wasn't even getting 3 step drops before being hit. And we know that the Pats have to pass because they have zero running game! (which by the way is physical football!) So all and all the Pats dominated on the scoreboard and that is all that counts but they did not dominate the stats.

I think the Steelers will win, but the Jaguars play their "A" game against the Steelers. Still have the hatred of old Division Rivals, and keep meeting up it seems. I don't think the Jaguars will "out-physical" play them this week though. Should be a great game though. I think the only team that physically won was Arizona this year, maybe Denver but that would be a close one. Now if someone wants a real example of the Steelers losing the physical battle, look at the games against Baltimore last year.

Jacksonville will take it no problem.
Steelers are way over-rated. Lost to the Jets... Only put up 3 against the Dolphins... Beat the Browns on a last second field goal...
Jacksonville 27
Pittsburgh 17
mrjamfy - Patriots didnt need a running game. They lit up your Steelers and your no-name saftey TWICE for TD's. Maroney can run, trust me, he just didn't need to

I thnk that the Steelers aren't going to be phsycally beaten up by the Jags. It's going to be a cold PA game and the Steelers will be right in their element, and I think the Jags will be a little out of theirs.
I think it will be a good game, and I do give the Jags a lot of credit as being a hard hitting, fun team to watch this year.
Edit: Way to stick up for the Steeler Nation!

The Steelers are seriously missing Cowher, they may sing Tomlin's praises but they are much softer than they have been in many years. Jacksonville will definitely dominate the Steelers this weekend I am sorry to say.

nope, btw...you should change your name to patriots hater.
How you do you "out finesse" a team in the NFL...one of the most physically demanding sports in the world...I would say the patriots hit Rothlesbumb, punished both their offensive and defensive lines and embarassed the steelers like they have almost every other team in the league...Patriots fans aren't arrogant they're smart...if you want to use an adjective to describe pats fans use Cocky....because we are and we have the right to be.
