there is a very confusing array of supplements which fall all over the field regarding strength and purity. The man wants to take everything that will help without dramatically going over the line into what is illegal. If you have a few minutes stop at a big Health food store, and look at the section for strength building, and male "sexual health". It is pretty intimidating, knowing that some of these things are over the line, but most aren't. And if it is worth a few hundred thousand dollars to you to "be the best that you can be" it seems reasonable that you might want to push a little bit.

Most of them are going to know it, but there are cases where certain injuries require some sort of steriod in one form or another to be taken and as dumb as many of these athletes are, they may not realize that they are taking banned substances. Some of the banned substances are common drugs to a middle ages person not playing professional sports.

The question was steroids, not something you might have picked up from GNC or some other health food store that happened to be on the list of banned substances. If someone is taking steroids, THEY KNOW IT!!

The obvious response is no. But some athletes have taken supplements that they did not know contained banned substances, because they were misinformed, or didn't take the time to learn more about them.

NO! Why would you take something if you didn't know what it was? I guess it's the easiest excuse!
