Do you think the league protects some players in these steroid tests/investigations? I wonder how much we don't know.

I think it is completely corrupt. If you think this is the first time baseball has heard about their players using steroids, you'd be a fool. Bud Selig and Major League Baseball turned a blind eye to steroids back in 1998 when they needed Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa to have a home run race to build up the popularity of baseball. The big home runs put fans in the seats and got people to tune into the games.

I don't think the league knows as much as you believe they do. The player's union has kept the league from doing anything about the steroid era.

There are 30 principal team owners, so at least 29 corrupt individuals in seats of power.

There is a lot we don't know but I don't think that MLB is any different than the other major sports...Think if the NBA actually did legitimate drug testing..Guaranteed the league would fold!
