Althought it would have been very amusing to see Steiner get a pink slip, I can't argue with at least giving Petey Williams a World Title match.

Good points, Candle. But it was just...welll I can't really think of one word to describe it. It was funny, moronic and ackward at the same time.
And God knows WWE has done many, MANY spoofs that are just as bad, if not worse.

lol at The Deal or No Deal rip off. That's entertainment for you, TNA Style. I'm sure you've seen the WWE Idol just months ago.
It's Petey's time. It's well-deserved.
lmao at Steiner getting an x-division title match. Good luck doing the Frankensteiner all throughout the match, Scott.
And Christian Cage! Damn, he'll be big again!

Saw it. Disappointed at the results though. Steiner should have been fired on the spot. Steroid abuser. It should have gone TNA Title Shot - Fallen Angel ; X Division Shot - Petey Williams ; Tag Title Shot - BG James ; Fired - Scott Steiner.

I saw it, but no biggie. It's not the first time wrestling has stole away from real life, or popculture phenomena. Take Jillian Hall for example, you can't tell me her gimmick would exist without the sucky singers on American Idol (And yes, I am one of those self-depreciating masochists who tunes in to the first show each season to see the freak shows come and try out, and then doesn't watch the rest of the show).
Wrestling has always been a reflecting pool of our culture, for both the good and the bad. No sense in throwing around words like "rip-off" in regards to one promotion.

I saw part of it I thought it was cool, funny the first brief case opened was the title shot. I didn't get to see the whole thing, who got fired???? Edit your question and let us know. Anytime girls are involved it's a good thing fo r wrestling and for us.

I saw it, too, and said the same thing.
However, I hope you are not forgetting that two-three week stretch of William Regal having parodies of game shows on RAW. I believe that was just as bad.
**WWE parodied The Dating Game and American Idol.

I saw it. I normally don't watch TNA, but there was nothing else on t.v. So I watched it, and when that came on I was like, it this deal or no deal, wrestling addition.
