I love to shoot, plink, finding it harder & harder to find places to take my 22 and shoot. Recently bought a German made air pistol with a pretty good push and having allot of fun with it and shooting places I wouldn't dream of firing my 22.

Rumors have been swirling lately about a possible trade between the Dallas Stars and Tampa Bay Lightning that would include Martin St. Louis for Marty Turco and either Trevor Daley or Mike Ribero. Severall sources (TSN being one) have stated that conversations have taken place.

I remember way back when I was a kid (born 1988) where there was this indoor wrestling show, like cage matches, and there was this African-American guy who wore a fake metal (silver) arm sleeve thing and pretended like he was a robot or something. He also carried a staff when he enters the ring. He had dreads, too. I know it's not WWF... Anyone know? Thanks.

I hear all this talk about the Tigers, but they haven't done anything impressive yet. Cabrera was the only real upgrade they made and that will be negated by the aging players.

It looks great on paper just like the Cubs teams w/ Prior and Wood and Zambrano in the rotation. Here is a team w/ a bunch of aging players trying to infuse some youth. Mags had his career year and wont even come CLOSE to matching it at age 33+. Sheffield is going to decline (.260 avg 25 HR), Pudge isn't what he used to be, I wouldn't expect 10 wins out of Rogers, and Bonderman/Robinson are overrated. However, the defense up the middle is strong, Pudge will make his plays here and there, and Verlander will anchor that rotation. Willis is a HUGE question mark moving to the stronger AL (10-13 4.85 ERA I say) and Jones (near 6 ERA) doesn't exactly slam doors shut. Guillen will probably have 1-2 more decent years, but this club is teeter-tottering on the line of a huge sucess or a huge disaster.

A hitter is ganted protection for the elbows, (allowing them to get closer to the outside corner and taking away the brushback resource from the pitchers (even though they are facing 92mph average speed) wrist guards,special batting gloves and chin guards, but a pitcher that is exposed to balls coming to him at over 150 mph is not allowed to use any visible protection. Even they are accepting 32oz. bats ( I use to swing a 32oz bat when i was 12 years old) and I see that all the advantage has been given to the hitters.
