Wrestling show where guy had metal arm and staff?

I remember way back when I was a kid (born 1988) where there was this indoor wrestling show, like cage matches, and there was this African-American guy who wore a fake metal (silver) arm sleeve thing and pretended like he was a robot or something. He also carried a staff when he enters the ring. He had dreads, too. I know it's not WWF... Anyone know? Thanks.

The show you're thinking of is called WMAC Masters, it wasn't a wrestling show but a karate spinoff from the movie Mortal Kombat. The person you're thinking about is Hakim Alston, who had dreadlocks and a metal outfit, and arm.

Here's a picture of Hakim in his outfit that you're referring to notice the dreads, the staff and arm.
