There's a few, website below.

I don't think there's much space for a similar style promotion as to what's available. You'll have to aim bigger. I went to see All Star Wrestling the other week and there is a lot of talent around. If you got people like James Mason and Mikey Whiplash you'd have a show on your hands.

A major British promotion would be good but, to take it to the next level you'll need TV deals (terrestrial OR free-view ideally) with shows at least once a month to begin with.

Name ideas:
BBW = Best British Wrestling
GBW = Great British Wrestling
BWA = British Wrestling Association
BWF = British Wrestling Federaion
BWP = British Wrestling Promotion

In the first couple of years you'd be lucky to break even and it will require a large financial investment (min £100k) however you will be able to cut a lot of costs initially. If done right it I believe it would be successful (not as big as WWE).

If you have the money go for it!!! Keep us up to date if you are in the position to make a go of it. Good luck.

Well Ted Turner is out of the game for starters.That's why he sold WCW to Vince back in 2001.
What about LockDown wrestling? Sounds cool enough for a new fed.There's always room here for a wrestling fed.But with the likes of LDN Capital & RQW on the Sky channel TWC ~ the competition is bound to be fierce.Good luck anyways.

There's always room for another promotion, the only problem is getting them on national or global television and seriously pushed by a network. Unless your initials or WWE, and you're not on Spike, not many networks are willing to push a wrestling product anymore. Even MTV, a network that's taken it's chances on wrestling before, really dropped the ball on WSX, and was essentially the reason it went out of business.

Why not use the name PRO (Prestigious Ring Order)? I've used that for my EWR game a million times. I hope your promotion makes it over in England, but as far as Global recognition goes...well, one step at a time. There are a lot of over promotions in Japan that work better on a national level, I think people should aim for that more these days instead of making a global impact.
