Why do all the analysts say the A-Rod has the AL MVP unaminously but the NL MVP is tight? The AL could either be A-Rod, Mike Lowell, David Ortiz, Vladimir Guerrero..by no means does A-Rod going to win by a wide majority. But for the NL omfg, Matt Holliday better fricken win it unanimously. Jimmy Rollins SHOULD HAVE NO shot at winning. 32 HRs...less than 100 RBI, less than .300 batting average. No! Ryan Howard has a BA of .264!!!!! It's not question. AL should be tight, NL should be no question

i used to pitch the "Tim Linncecum" way where I would push off really hard off the the mound, but that always made me slip and throw the ball weird. I'm now going to try to throw the "Michael Main" way where I still push off but not as far. Do you think this is smart? Or should I keep practicing the Tim Linncecum way.

Can anyone tell me what kind of pellet they would reccommend to kill a raccoon at 10-20 yards with a RWS 48 (.22). I am going to test out the pellets to see which one works well with the gun by buying the pellet sampler from SS but I also want to just buy one tin of pellets to shoot around with also. If someone here owns or owned a 48 in .22 and can help me from personal experience I would appreciate that as well.

Growing up Borje Salming was one of my biggest hockey heroes. That's right, I don't have it in for the all the Europeans, just the ones who can't live up to my standards which are play every game with all you've got so even if you lose when it's over you can say you did your best.
Anyway, Borje was a pioneer for European players to come over and play in the NHL. He was successful and he stayed a long time. The Toronto fans loved him. He inspired me to switch to playing defense, even Numba Fouwa didn't do that. So anyway as I digress again, here's an article with a particularly grewsome Salming picture in it to share. Now perhaps you can tell me who your biggest hockey influence was now that I've told you mine (NHL or otherwise). Cheers! Oh here's the link LOL http://www.thestar.com/Sports/NHL/article/271006

your opinion is indeed ludicrously biased....gerrard is just as much hyped up as the english national team is, every world cup...the only match winning ability that comes to mind when i think of gerrard is his ability to shoot from long range....and even then, i hav not see his do this against big teams, and neither hav i seen him do AnYTHING in the national team...he is the kind of player who will thrive in anfeld becos of the affectionate fans and so forth, but put him elsewhere, and he will be a big flop..he doesnt have the pace, the sensational dribbling skills, the ability to beat defenders, the pin point passing that is synonymous with kaka....it is definitely no secret that Kaka is streets better than gerrard, and u will only disagree if u are a biased liverpool fan...Kaka in my opinion is the best player in the world...and comparing him to gerrard is a bit of a joke..(no disrespect to gerrard of course)

Must say I agree entirely, Gerrard is the most overrated player ive ever

Sorry to keep singling you out but one of your answers earlier (regarding Russians) intrigued me and made me remember an agent, Mark Gandler (he is a Russian I believe that changed his name to that) but I think there was another Mark Gandler too. Always confused me. Anyway, do/did you know him and what was your experience with him? I have heard he was a dirtbag and some teams (Flyers) quit even dealing with him. He was/is also Yashin's agent (the hold-out) and I think he was the agent of a few others you mentioned - Mironov maybe.
Some called him the Drew Rosenhaus of hockey.

If you prefer not to answer a question involving your peer, I can appreciate that.

Two Petr Svobodas used to confuse me too. Wasn't one of them an agent?

There are teams like the Buffalo Bills who are thinking of moving to Toronto. They have a preseason game scheduled in Toronto next season and a possible regular season game scheduled in 2009.

My question is for Canadians: would you want Canada to be a part of the NFL?

They're both undefeated, the way they're playing the Patriots will go 16-0, and the Colts will go 15-1.
