your opinion is indeed ludicrously biased....gerrard is just as much hyped up as the english national team is, every world cup...the only match winning ability that comes to mind when i think of gerrard is his ability to shoot from long range....and even then, i hav not see his do this against big teams, and neither hav i seen him do AnYTHING in the national team...he is the kind of player who will thrive in anfeld becos of the affectionate fans and so forth, but put him elsewhere, and he will be a big flop..he doesnt have the pace, the sensational dribbling skills, the ability to beat defenders, the pin point passing that is synonymous with kaka....it is definitely no secret that Kaka is streets better than gerrard, and u will only disagree if u are a biased liverpool fan...Kaka in my opinion is the best player in the world...and comparing him to gerrard is a bit of a joke..(no disrespect to gerrard of course)

he is a good player, im not saying he sint, but completeness isnt necessary in football, he isnt as good a defensive player as people would have us believe, and as for him playing well all over the park

BOLLO CKS, gerrard has flattered to deceive at the slower internation level for years now, because it requires footballing intellgence he does not possess

Gerrard is a great player. He is not over rated. He just has way too much expected and then he is played in a way that does not suite him. Unlike Kaka, Gerrard is not given the freedom to roam all over the field and make his impact on the game. He's usually pushed into some corner which limits what influence he may have.
Kaka is by no means the best player in the world. Because he has the young feet amongst the soon-to-be amputees it makes him look so much better. Put him in a younger side like Man Utd or Arsenal or Barca and you'll see how much less of an impact he'll have on the game.
Dont get me wrong, Kaka is a great player as well, but he only looks so good because of the players around him.

gerrard just got in form for 2 season only and reason of that is he played so long at liverpool..it's a kind of that like alex ferguson manage man utd so long that's why he always be a good manager even do sometime he not winning any trophy..the point is u have to leave the people on ur squad for long time and don't throw he out of the club even do he make a lot of mistake just to show that u and everybody give him a lot of support even do he make mistake and he also will know that..like lampard he move from west ham to chelsea even now many big club want to buy him not like gerrard that got no quality at all that's why he not on transfer market (facts and proof that he not good as lampard at all)
